**Overview**

The Direct Care Worker (Community) will assist in providing a direct client service to persons who are aged, frail or disabled who wish to remain living in their own home with some assistance.

The Direct Care Worker (Community) is accountable to the Community Care Coordinator and works in close collaboration with Community Health professionals and is part of a multi-disciplinary team.

The Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network, called RMCLHN for short, supports more than 70,000 people living in country South Australia in the towns and surrounds of Renmark, Paringa, Berri, Barmera, Waikerie, Loxton, Pinnaroo, Lameroo, Karoonda, Mannum, Murray Bridge, Tailem Bend, Meningie, Tintinara and Coonalpyn. This is a multiple positions part time vacancy, hours to be negotiated and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
