Visy’s Beverage Can factory in Yatala Queensland produces high quality aluminum cans for the beverage facility. We produce 2.1 million cans per day, servicing some of Australia and New Zealand’s biggest manufacturers in the beverage industry. **The Beverage Can Factory**

**The Opportunity**:

- As a Mechanical Fitter you will be responsible for preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns, helping to maintain equipment in this state-of-the-art facility.
- You will be responsible for servicing a range of automated machines including machines involved in forming, decorating, and coating cans, supporting service and repair of machines like palletizers, stackers, PLC controlled plant and some of the AGV’s that are involved in production and dispatch.

**What you will bring to the team**:

- Basic oxy acetylene gas experience as a minimum together with MiG/tig/stick welding skills
- You are analytical and keenly focussed on process and continuous improvement
- Mechanical trade qualifications, a valid forklift license and are computer literate
- Experience working in a fast paced, high-volume environment while maintaining the required safety standards
- Good communication and reporting skills
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a “get the job done” approach every day.
