This is your opportunity to join a specialist Ophthalmology Practice in the centre of the medical precinct, Spring Hill This long standing Practice has continued to grow and develop in specialisations and offers their staff a friendly environment with a great supportive team culture. Due to continued growth they are seeking an additional Medical Receptionist/Secretary to support this busy Practice.
**Your responsibilities**
If you enjoy being busy, love to be challenged and delight in providing excellent customer service then this is the position for you You will enjoy the opportunity to take ownership of your role and also have support when needed. With a mix of front and back office functions you will also have the variety you enjoy. Responsibilities include;
- Greet patients at Reception
- Manage incoming calls
- Appointment and surgery bookings
- Billing and receipting
- Banking and Eftpos
- Quote preparation
- Assist patients with queries including fees, Medicare & Health fund benefits
- Liaise with hospitals and third parties

Great facilities including lunch room and modern equipment adds to a great working environment. Hours are fixed depending on the clinic hours of your specialist, however, flexibility is required to cover leave of other staff between the hours of 7.15am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday. Close to public transport including Central Station makes getting to work a breeze.
**Your background**
To be successful in this position we are seeking a person who either has some medical background or the right attitude to hit the ground running and learn new skills quickly. Whilst medical experience would be ideal, this practice is open to providing training. If the following describes your skills and experience, do not delay in applying;
