- $29.23 per hour

Retail Chicken Shop located in Pendle Hill requires Customer Service staff as well as Storepeople/General Hands, preferably with experience, for immediate starts.

Casual hourly pay rate $29.23 per hour. PPE and onsite training provided, free onsite parking and canteen facilities, casual to permanent opportunities may become available.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Serving customers and taking order over the counter
- Point of sale, EFTPOS and cash handling
- Stocking and rotating the shops shelves
- Receiving deliveries in and out
- Packing, wrapping and filling orders
- Communication with other parts of the factory
- General cleaning of the shop
- Heavy lifting of bulk boxes, moving stock and pallets with hand trolleys and pallet jacks.

**What we are looking for**:

- Driver’s license and own reliable transport to get to work
- Must be available Monday - Saturday
- Previous customer service experience, or a friendly and outgoing nature to be able to communicate with customers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are absolutely essential - you will be required to do paperwork, use the computer, stock take and cash register
- No birds, chickens or pigs at home (quarantine regulation)
- Be available for shifts across a Monday to Saturday roster. Hours will vary so flexibility is required, shop is open 7am-5pm
- Be comfortable working in a cold/refrigerated environment while handling raw and cooked chicken and turkey products
