**As the Corporate Strategy and Performance Officer, you will**:
**Lead the Corporate Planning Lifecycle**: Develop and implement a five-year strategic plan with annual reviews and an annual operational plan, ensuring alignment with legislative requirements and organisational objectives.
**Strategic Analysis**: Analyse and interpret business challenges and risks, using strategic planning to enhance operational planning.
**Facilitate Workshops**: Conduct workshops with key stakeholders to gather input and build consensus.
**Monitor and Evaluate**: Track progress against plans, addressing deviations and emerging issues.
**Reporting**: Prepare and present reports to leadership teams and the Board, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.
**Annual Report Production**: Coordinate the development and production of West Moreton Health's annual report.
**Risk Management Integration**: Collaborate with risk management specialists to integrate risk assessments into planning.
**Decision-Making Support**: Develop timely and relevant submissions, briefs, presentations, and information papers for stakeholders and decision-makers, including Committees, the Board, and the Department of Health.
**Research and Analysis**: Coordinate and review research on complex issues related to clinical and support services, presenting findings to inform strategic priorities.
About you
- Strong understanding of strategic planning frameworks and methodologies and the ability to ensure this knowledge translates into strategic and operational plans.
- Proven track record of leading and facilitating the development and implementation of strategic plans, encompassing both long-term vision and annual operationalisation.
- Experience in monitoring and evaluating progress against plans, adjusting as needed, and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
- Well-developed understanding of risk management principles and frameworks, ability to integrate risk assessments into strategic and operational planning.
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, fostering collaboration and building relationships across all levels of the health service.
- Knowledge of health services and sector dynamics, including political, environment, and departmental influences, to effectively impact service delivery and the strategic direction of healthcare.
