As an **Internal Communications Specialist**, you’ll be at the heart of our busy Communications team, crafting and executing dynamic internal communication plans and campaigns that resonate with our audiences and support our internal communications strategy.

Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, you’ll collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders across our matrix organisation to cultivate messages that embody our brand voice while bringing our purpose, culture, values, and ways of working to life.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

- Understanding our strategic objectives to help deliver effective, timely, engaging and relevant communications.
- Developing cohesive communications plans for internal campaigns, events, town halls, wellbeing and sustainability initiatives and more.
- Working with many stakeholders to build a compelling story bank for our internal channels.
- Willingness to embrace new technologies and offer a fresh perspective so that our communications evolve with our audience.
- Using data and insights to tailor our channels and messages to the needs of our audiences.

**Qualifications**
Now let’s talk about you:

- Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, or public relations.
- 1-2 years proven experience in a similar communications role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines (great time management).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Experience communicating with stakeholders of all levels.
- Event management/planning experience.
- Passion for people and a desire to grow a career in internal communications.
- Tech-savvy growth mindset to help us evolve our internal channels.
- Experience working in a Google-based environment.
- Experience working in a large, matrix organisation.
- Experience working in the retail and hospitality industry is advantageous.
