**The opportunity**:
We are seeking a dedicated Laboratory Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will perform essential clerical duties that support the effective functioning of the Laboratory Services Unit. Under the supervision of the Customer Care Group Team Leader, your responsibilities will include:
Performing data entry of all patient data using our laboratory management software
Packing and sending resources
Assisting with specimen reception, including checking and organising incoming specimens and registering them

About your new team

At the heart of our operations, the Customer Care Group within the Laboratory Services Unit is dedicated to providing crucial Pre
- and Post-Analytical support services to the diagnostic arm of VCGS. Operational Monday to Friday from 7am to 7pm, the group encompasses specimen reception, data entry, liaison and coordination, clerical administration, and a call centre running from 8am to 5pm.
