**Base salary starting from $159,800 plus super (dependent upon experience)**

**About You**:
We can’t wait for you to join our team and share your experience as** IT Project Assurance Lead **and bring your skills and experience to the team. Having worked in a similar role previously, you are passionate about governance, risk, compliance, and assurance. You enjoy managing complex problems and use your analytical approach to conjure clever solutions. Ensuring compliance across IT projects requires input from all individuals, you are confident in advising and supporting employees to achieve their assurance objectives as well as interact with all levels of stakeholders.

From a practical perspective your skills and experience might include:

- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
- A project or program management qualification.
- Diploma in Project Management, PMP, or PRINCE2 Practitioner.
- Strong experience in managing quality processes and governance in complex projects and programs.
- Extensive experience leading IT programs and projects utilising various approaches including Agile and Waterfall.

Key to your success will be your:

- Ability to manage quality processes and governance in complex projects and programs.
- Ability to build and maintain strong and robust relationships with internal customers including executive management and external stakeholders.
- Experience in leadership roles in a dynamic and diverse organisation with the ability to support and engage others to achieve outcomes.
- Track record for delivering business outcomes.

**About the role**:
As **IT Project Assurance Lead** you will play a leadership role in the delivery of an effective assurance function to ensure robust governance and quality processes are in place to ensure project success. The role facilitates best practice governance to support this and aligns to Hydro Tasmania’s strategy, annual budgets, business unit plan initiatives and agreed prioritised projects. You will also develop, implement, and execute project management governance and gating processes to ensure the success of the IT project team. Your strong relationship skills assist you with cross collaboration within your team and across the organisation educating them on governance and assurance practices and best practice models for control assurance.
