**Why Your Role Matters**:
The HR Officer Compliance is responsible for working with stakeholders, across the Divisions and Faculties, to identify both compliance risks and opportunities for risk mitigation, to ensure the ongoing compliance of the University in relation to HR systems and processes.

The role will work with both the HR Compliance Team and the HR Business Partnering Team to develop and implement relevant initiatives, robust procedures, and training to ensure compliances risks are identified and managed across the University.

**Responsibilities**:

- Act as the first point of contact and advise on compliance questions
- Identify and manage compliance risks and implement compliance strategies
- Providing input into the compliance risk register and triaging complex queries
- Work closely with the HR Compliance Team to support the ongoing review and continuous improvement of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Coordinate and deliver a suite of training modules on HR
- Ensure ethical practices, confidentially and privacy

**Who You Are**:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Experience in a governance role designing/facilitating compliance related training
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
- Experience in supporting the implementation of organisational strategies
- Ability to analyse, problem solve and think of sustainable solutions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, including time management and organisational skills
