**What You Will Be Working On**:
As a Waste Disposal Officer you will be responsible for waste disposal processes within the City of Armadale, ensuring appropriate disposal and recycling, and reducing the impact on the environment. By actively participating in waste management, you contribute to preserving natural resources, reducing pollution, and mitigating the harmful effects of waste on ecosystems.

Waste management practices are evolving with advancements in technology. As a Waste Disposal Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with innovative technologies and equipment.

To improve waste processing, recycling, and disposal methods you will operate various machinery including water trucks, hook lift trucks, tipper trucks and waste collection vehicles at the City of Armadale Landfill and Recycling Facility. Other plant operation services will include landfill compactors, front end loaders and specialist plant.

**What Type Of Person Will Be Successful**:

- Experience in landfill and recycling facility operations or similar (waste collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal methods).
- Ability to safely operate and maintain water trucks, hook lift trucks, tipper trucks, waste collection vehicles, landfill compactors, and front end loaders.
- Good communication skills for explaining waste management procedures, addressing concerns, and promoting waste reduction initiatives.
- Possession of Current HR Class Drivers Licence
- Possession of Construction Induction Card
