About the role
Full-time opportunities exists within the Adult Community Mental Health Services for a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced mental health clinician with sound clinical knowledge, and mental health experience.
The role will work in partnership with consumers, carers, families and other service providers in order to provide high quality case management and discipline specific mental health assessment, treatment, consultation and community linkage services within a recovery-oriented framework. This position will be based at our clinic in Ringwood East, and provides both centre based and outreach services.
As part of the second largest public mental health service in Victoria, our community mental health services prides themselves on supporting colleagues in clinically complex situations, having a strong professional culture, as well as opportunities for professional development and career progression.

About you
**To be successful in this role you should possess**:
Qualifications and experience as specified in the position description, either as a Registered Nurse, Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, or Occupational Therapist with appropriate registration
Experience in community mental health practice including case management and discipline specific practices
Demonstrated ability to provide mental health assessments and interventions for consumers and their carers individually and/or in groups utilising a case management model
Demonstrated commitment to and ability to practice utilising the recovery approach in mental health treatment and support with a focus on working collaboratively with consumers and carers to promote self-determination and enable progress towards reaching personal recovery goals.
Well-developed interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
A strong commitment to high quality care
The ability to work as part of a diverse team
Flexible and agile in responding to the operational and clinical challenges and complexity with a focus on supporting consumers and their family/carers to address their goals in their recovery journey
