**PRE-SCHOOL COORDINATOR**
**FULL-TIME - TERM 1, 2023 START
Cranbrook School is seeking an experienced and inspirational educator to become our next
Pre-school Coordinator to lead and manage St Mark’s and St Michael’s Pre-schools from Term
1, 2023.

**ABOUT THE POSITION**

Reporting to the Head of Junior School and a member of the Junior School Leadership team,
the Pre-school Coordinator will be responsible for driving and delivering the Cranbrook Junior
School early childhood programme.

The role is responsible for delivering on the School’s vision to be a world class school which
encourages and enables all of our students to explore, enjoy and fulfil their potential.

The position will work across our two pre-schools, St Mark’s at Darling Point and St
Michael’s at Vaucluse.

Staff at Cranbrook take an active and enthusiastic part in the full life of the School, including
involvement in the School’s co-curricular program requiring work outside normal teaching
hours.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Experience in leading creative and dynamic teams who can provide stimulating

learning environments for children aged 3 to 5 years.
- Experience with teaching the IB Primary Years Programme, and in effective integration

of ICT to deliver meaningful pedagogy, are highly desirable.
- Teaching qualifications and experience are a prerequisite for the position. A Master’s

degree in Education is preferred.
- Familiarity with current early childhood philosophies, the Early Years’ Learning

Framework, the IB PYP and NESA requirements.
- Exemplary understanding of best practice with a deep commitment to implementing

rigorous, highly differentiated programmes in Pre-school settings and a commitment
to excellence through accountability.
- Demonstrated understanding of the role of data in informing teaching and learning.
- Highly organised, detail-focused, resourceful and with the ability to work under
- pressure to meet deadlines.- Able to take ownership of tasks, demonstrate initiative and produce work of a
- consistently high standard.- A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
- Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
