We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Manager Delivery - Asset Programs on a full-time, ongoing basis. The role will be based at Sydney Olympic Park with hybrid work options available.

**About the role**

The Manager Delivery - Asset Programs drives capital works programs to ensure the Office of Sport’s asset portfolio is fit and suitable for purpose, and programs are executed within sound business parameters ensuring probity and transparency. This role is accountable for leading, planning and overseeing the delivery of multiple capital works and maintenance projects, managing risk and troubleshooting project issues with multiple stakeholders.

**About you**
- a professional and approachable communication style, with excellent leadership, relationship management, planning and organisational capabilities.
- a multi-disciplined asset management and/or construction industry background with a proven track record in planning and delivering capital works and maintenance programs within tight timeframes and to budget.
- excellent negotiation skills and an ability to influence and lead with a customer-centric mindset, aligning the organisation’s strategy, culture, and operations to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- an ability to anticipate risks associated with projects and develop options to manage risks throughout the life of a project.
- a high level of strategic judgement to take a direct role in issues management, and when required, to resolve matters discreetly.
- a demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership, management and development to a team of project managers and project support staff, creating a continuous improvement environment and establishing high performance standards.

**Pre-screening questions**
- Can you describe a situation where you were required to deliver a complex program of capital works projects across multiple sites? In your response, identify how you coordinated resources, managed risks, managed competing stakeholder interests and ensured compliance with procurement policies and contractual obligations.
- Outline your two strongest qualities in managing a team to deliver works programs with limited resources and budget constraints. Demonstrate those qualities by a reference to an example when you used them to positive effect in delivering the desired outcome.
