**Your role**

The Project Officer performs project management and support activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects within SSCX, in line with established objectives.

There is a requirement to prepare and maintain project documentation, including reporting, regular communication with stakeholders, facilitating the exchange of information and contributing to the successful completion of deadlines.

**What you’ll do**

The Project Officer performs project management and support activities, contributing to the development, delivery and success of a range of projects within SSCX,

The project officer is responsible for:

- Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including project plans and briefs
- Preparing and distributing regular project status reporting
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information and support project completion in line with project plans
- Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning

Shared Services and Customer Experience (SSCX) is focused on enhancing our customer experience by partnering in the delivery of value-added shared services and performance solutions. The Service Management Assurance unit provides Payroll Production and Reporting, Organisational Management, and Service Assurance activities within Shared Services.

**What we’re looking for**

Someone who has previously worked in a shared services environment and / or has been part of operational projects (preferably not IT) and is a good team player who can work with stakeholders at all levels. as well as someone who:

- Has completed Project Management studies
- Experience in a Shared Services transactional environment
- Experience working on large projects, playing a critical role in the successful delivery of the project
- Strong Communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Good attention to detail

Knowledge of Finance and Payroll transactional processes in ERP systems (ideal but not essential)
