**About the role**
TAFE NSW is looking for an individual with current industry experience and knowledge in fitting and machining to join us on a permanent full-time basis at our Western Sydney campuses.

The role of the TAFE Teacher as a professional educator is to help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The teacher delivers educational programs and facilitates learning, enabling students to achieve their desired outcomes.

**About You**
To be considered for this position, you will need to meet the essential requirements:

- Minimum of a Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trades or equivalent
- Minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously
- Hold a Certificate IV TAE40116 or equivalent
- To be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
- Desirable - Certificate IV in Fluid Power or CNC Machining
