Fabricator

Etched specialise in the design and manufacture of architectural façades and non-combustible cladding systems.

With locations in Victoria and New South Wales, the company is experiencing continued growth and expansion, and we are looking for experienced Fabricators/ Welders to work out of our manufacturing premises in Campbelltown.

**About the Role**

Etched is seeking an experienced and proactive Fabricator/ Welder. In this role you will complete basic metal working practices including cutting, marking out/ folding/ forming, bending and basic machining to a high standard. To be successful in this role you will possess high attention to detail, quality assurance, a good attitude towards work and your fellow team members and be reliable.

**Skills and Expertise**:

- Must be able to read plans
- Have at least 2-3 years’ experience in metal fabrication
- Experienced in aluminium as well as steel welding
- Also need to be experienced in cutting and grinding of aluminium and steel
- Be able to use hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment, as well as other machines to mark out, cut, shape and join a variety of sheet metal materials
- Have the ability to learn quickly and take instructions well.
- Have a high attention to detail and ability to produce high quality work
- Be able to work within a small team and unsupervised when required
- A trade qualification is highly regarded, however not essential
