**The Role**:
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced people leader with an extensive clinical experience to join the Children's Cancer Centre team as Team Leader, Psycho-oncology. The Team Leader, Psycho-oncology provides clinical leadership and operational management to the multidisciplinary psycho-oncology team of neuropsychologists, mental health clinicians, art therpaists and child life therapists to deliver high-quality psycho-oncology care, including screening and assessment, treatment, case management and consultation to internal and external stakeholders. The role oversees the program’s participation in practice-based research, quality improvement and service evaluation that leads to improved clinical care and monitoring and improvement of evidence-based clinical practices. This includes a focus on knowledge transfer and implementation of evidence into clinical practice. The Team Leader is a member of the CCC leadership team, and contributes to key operational activities and strategic planning within the service to support the development and delivery of quality multidisciplinary oncology care.

To be successful in this role you will have:

- Tertiary qualification or equivalent in relevant discipline
- Eligibility for membership in Victoria with an appropriate professional body
- Current registration with AHPRA (where professionally relevant)
- Extensive experience in the provision of clinical mental health care to children with serious childhood illness and their families, and attainment or eligibility to hold a post in that discipline to a Grade 4 level
- Experience in providing quality clinical/professional supervision
- Demonstrated experience and leadership across clinical, managerial, education and research evaluation domains
