The position is responsible for management and leadership and the daily operation of organisational objectives, policies and procedures with the aim of meeting the needs of our sessional consulting room doctors.

**As the Practice Manager your responsibilities will include**:

- Initially responsible for setting up our tiered structure/services (e.g. Gold & Bronze) and future VMO practices
- The day to day management and leadership of the practice which includes maintaining patient database, theatre lists, VMO invoicing etc.
- The provision of accurate and timely financial and practice data including Rental invoicing
- Development of organisational systems to maximise productivity in the practice
- Supervision and development of staff to ensure a client service culture, in partnership with the Patient Administration Manager
- Understanding of appropriate IT policies, as per Healthscope Policy
- Liaising with Hospital stakeholders on behalf of consulting doctors to increase hospital presence and potential admissions.

With 120 inpatient Surgical and Medical beds, a rehabilitation gym, 7 operating theatres, 2 procedure rooms, a day oncology unit and an ICU, Sunnybank Private Hospital has been providing care to our local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Computer literacy including familiarity with patient management systems
- Proven leadership and outstanding customer service skills
- Display high levels of initiative and work well autonomously
- Management experience in a health care setting
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to foster strong relationships with key referrers and VMO’s to promote hospital services.
