**The opportunity**:
Are you passionate about research data management and eager to make a significant contribution to a major project? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our GenV data governance and analytics team
As a Research Data Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that research datasets are meticulously prepared for researchers and other end users. Your responsibilities will include formatting, organising, and documenting GenV's multiple data inputs, as well as developing data processing protocols and meta-data. You will uphold high-quality standards and facilitate data sharing with researchers, adhering to principle-based approaches while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and ethical guidelines.
In addition, you will provide valuable support to GenV's Integrated Study collaborations, which encompass clinical trials, registries, and cohort studies conducted within and alongside GenV. Reporting to the Data Lead, you will closely collaborate with the Integrated Studies team to meet the needs of our collaborators and researchers.

**Your responsibilities include**:
Provide clean, accurate, and consistent data via data cleaning/processing tasks.
Standardise and organise data extracted from multiple sources via a common data framework and data dictionary.
Develop SOPs/documentation for data sources, dictionaries, transformation, confidentialisation and preparation
Develop solutions utilizing the available infrastructure at MCRI that promote reuse and efficiency for future use
Develop, implement, and revise protocols to facilitate end-to-end data flows to meet the data requirements of GenV Integrated Studies (IS), Partners, and Collaborators.
**About you**:
High-quality data/computer science/epidemiology/statistics or equivalent qualifications to Honours (Masters desirable), as evidenced by university transcripts
Demonstrated experience in data management and governance from trials/registries, large-scale surveys, longitudinal studies, population or public health research or other relevant industry experience
Strong expertise in data manipulation, programming and analyses using at least one statistical software program (preferred Python, R and/or Stata)
Outstanding end to end project management skills
