The customer contact centre at RevenueSA, known as RevCom, deals with all first point of contact communication from customers, regarding the taxes and grants administered by RevenueSA.

The Taxation Officer position contributes to the achievement of RevenueSA’s taxation objectives by performing a range of administrative and stakeholder contact tasks aimed at achieving RevenueSA’s corporate outcomes and operational objectives.

In this role you will provide quality advice in an environment involving high volume of enquiries. This role will keep you busy and requires you to manage a complex and diverse workload.

The Contact Centre will:

- Provide a simplified single contact point for RevenueSA customers
- Efficiently utilise RevenueSA resources with an emphasis upon timely and efficient collection of state revenue
- Provide cross-skilling and training opportunities for staff, work within best practice methodology to assist both staff and customers

**Special Conditions**:
Multiple short term contract roles available. Successful applicants will remain in the pool for 12 months or until a vacancy arises, whichever is sooner.
Rostering Requirements exist, starting and finishing times will be set according to business needs.

The incumbent will be required to:

- participate in the Departmental Performance Management Program
- undertake a General Probity Screening check, and
- may be required to be assigned to other positions at the same remuneration level across the department.

**Remuneration**:
ASO2 - $56 987 p.a. min - $61 301 p.a. max (adjusted accordingly to hours worked)
