Your unique contribution

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the Payroll Officer is responsible for managing and supporting the processing and payment of weekly & monthly payrolls across Australia and New Zealand. You will be responsible for the processing and supporting all checks to ensure the payroll is processed in accordance with standard processes, company policy and in line with relevant legislation along with statutory record keeping.

This position supports the Human Resources team in the administration of pay and all associated issues, including fixed and variable pay.- Being the point of contact for all general payroll queries from the business- Ensuring weekly and monthly payrolls are processed in a timely and accurate manner- Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee files, supporting with manual checks, reconciliations, and audits- Preparation of a range of reports (headcount, social reporting, leave liabilities, payroll costs, staff turnover, absenteeism) in an organised and systematic fashion- Ensuring data integrity through regular data downloads

- Experience in processing high-volume AU payroll- A customer-serviced focus, with the ability to respond to a range of payroll queries in a friendly and efficient manner- An in-depth understanding and ability to interpret Australian taxation, superannuation, and legislative requirements- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills,- Emplive, Preceda and Workday knowledge an advantage- Experience in New Zealand payroll an advantage
