**Safety & Training Advisor | HSET Advisor: Mid-West**

**About Us**

Terra Mining are a dynamic leader in Western Australia’s mining sector, which rapidly expanding its portfolio of projects across the region.

As we embark on new ventures and continue to grow with another project located in the Mid-West region of Western Australia.

The remarkable achievements at this site so far have sparked an increase in our operational demands, with our site team seeking an experienced **HSET Advisor** to join the Terra Mining team.

**About The Position**

We are seeking a HSET Advisor with surface mining operation experience along with experience with bulk earthworks and the construction of tailings dams.

Their day to day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Promoting a safety culture through coaching and mentoring
- Developing and implementing safety procedures
- Participate in workplace incident investigations
- Coordinate and conduct workplace safety audits, inspections and risk assessments
- Assisting in delivering on our safety site safety management plans

**What we are seeking**

A Safety Training professional who values safety first in everything they do, including looking out for their teammates.
- Tertiary qualifications in OHS/WHS
- 5 years experience as a Safety Trainer on mine site & earthworks projects
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Strong attention to detail
- Certification in Workplace Auditing and Injury Management/Rehabilitation experience is desirable but not essential
- High level of written and verbal communication
- A positive attitude to safety and teamwork

You must have full Australian working rights, be able to complete and pass a medical assessment (including drug & alcohol screen) and be able to provide a current National Police Clearance (within last 12 months).
