Additional information:

- These roles are Permanent, Part-time, 30hr or 40hrs/fortnight.
- As our store operates 7 days per week, you must have the availability to work a rotating roster with a mix of day and evening shifts, where the spread of hours will be between 8am to 9:30pm. You also have the availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends in a month (both Saturday and Sunday).

RECRUITMENT PROCESS
- If you are successful for this role, you will be required to attend a 2-full day Welcome induction.
- If successful, your shifts will commence from Tuesday 2 April 2024.

**About this work area**

As Sales Co-worker your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Engaging and assist customers in understanding their needs and providing your knowledge on IKEA products and services to support their purchasing decisions.
- Actively participating in selling products with a positive attitude and contribute to business goals and growth.
- Being an expert and passionate about the IKEA range; and actively learning about their features and benefits.
- Building strong relationships with your team and other departments to promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Analysing sales space capacities based on system parameters to secure high stock availability.

We are looking for co-workers in the following areas:
Sales Co-worker (Bedrooms):

- Supporting customers with their wardrobe design process using the IKEA planning 3D rendering software. You will build strong relationships with the customer throughout their planning journey.
- Responsible for ensuring that the sales area is stocked, presentable, attractively merchandised and correctly priced.

Sales Co-worker (Self Serve Furniture Area):

- Condensing stock, including unloading pallets and cutting boxes open to restock appropriate products and recycling of cardboard.
- Working closely with the Logistics team to ensure the Self Serve warehouse is always well-stocked, tidy and presentable.

As Sales Co-worker you are or have:

- Passionate about our home furnishing products and working with customers.
- Proficient computer skills and an ability to learn about all technical aspects of the IKEA range.
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment and manage your own tasks.
- A calm and confident approach along with strong communication and customer skills, ensuring we keep the customer in mind no matter what we do.
- A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work closely with your team and other departments yet also be able to work independently.
- A safety mindset and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling including repetitive lifting.
