Under the direction of the Senior Manager Quality Assurance, the Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for the inspection of inwards goods, coordinating Quality component of NPD projects, customer complaint investigation & reporting, and internal auditing of the Quality program to ensure the site maintains accreditation with all regulatory and customer standards.

About You

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, both written and verbal as you will need to communicate with key stakeholders across all areas of our business. In addition to this, you will to demonstrate:
At least 1-2 years’ experience in a Quality or Food Manufacturing role
BSc. University degree in Food Science/Technology or related discipline
Ability to multi-task and prioritize own workload
Ability to problem solve in a production environment
Continuous improvement mindset

About The Role

Ensuring all incoming materials are inspected and released through SAP
Coordinating the quality aspects of the retail NPD process
Maintaining the approved supplier program
Management of the customer complaint program to resolve customer issues and implement actions to mitigate the complaint occurring again
Partnering with the Quality System Specialist and Operations to conduct customer and McCormick internal audits to maintain and improve Quality standards
Maintaining & improving Quality & Production systems and documentation
