**About The Drafter / Draftsperson Role**
- Creating accurate drawings from hand sketches, verbal instructions, and site visits.
- Prepare coloured drawings of landscape and interior designs for presentation to clients.
- Thinking creatively and critically to support the sales team in the design process, to create sketches and drawings that work.
- Liaison with sales consultants, site managers, design consultants, to produce and alter drawings.
- Creating and continually updating project drawings lists.
- Analyse building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on architectural designs.

**Skills & Experience**
**for the Architectural Designer vacancy**
- Experience in design and drafting in the residential building industry.
- Have a sound knowledge of the General Housing Code, Australian Standards, BCA and experience with Sydney Council DCP’s.
- Have experience working in a volume production drafting role whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to create presentation drawings with perspectives using ArchiCAD.
- Ability to create preliminary designs or conceptualization of design.
