**Organisation**:
Brightside Recruitment has partnered with an award winning Not-For-Profit organisation with the aim to empower, connect and support those in need within the community through providing social work services to children, youth and families, people living with a disability, and the elderly population.

**Role**:
Based near Bondi Junction, through comprehensive assessments and case management services, you'll support and assist disadvantaged young people to reach their potential, and develop the confidence to manage life's challenges.

Working with young people with a range of complex needs and their families, you'll help them discover and reach their goals.

Drawing on your social work skills and experience, you'll work closely with a team of volunteers driving an innovative buddy-system built to empower the young people on your caseload and their families.

**Selection Criteria**:

- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, with eligibility for AASW membership.
- Demonstrated case management experience working with children and/or young people.
- Experience and skills to conduct client assessments, and develop care plans that support clients’ needs, especially within the child and family sector.
- A strong understanding of the issues facing young people and resources available to young people and families.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends periodically as required;
**Extra info**:

- Experience working with volunteers is highly desirable.
- Experience organising and planning events and workshops is highly desirable.
- This role is immediately available
- Based near Bondi Junction
- Paying SCHADS Level 4
- Must have a current NSW Drivers Licence
- Must have a NSW WWCC
- Must have a satisfactory National Police Check
- Must be vaccinated against Covid-19
