This broad and newly scoped out role as
**Communications & IT Coordinator **will work closely with the Clubs delightful Communications, Functions & IT Manager effectively as her 2IC, for an historic and highly respected social club based at the 'Paris' end of Melbourne's Collins Street precinct. This key position will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Prepare and deliver high quality communications collateral, including print, electronic and social media
- Working with key staff, as well as designated Committee volunteers, update website, propose ideas for its ongoing development.
- Create data informed monthly reportsas well as the Clubs Annual Report
- Create and develop content, ensuring content and messaging for Member correspondence, including the President’s message, newsletters, activities reflect the tone of the organisation
- Liaise with the Special Interest Group’s (SIG’s), Club committees and assist with the content on respective web pages.
- Help project manage all current IT related projects including assisting with al initial IT related queries.
- Work closely with the Operations (including Functions) Team, ensure the timely release of event information as well as driving event numbers
- Assist with the development and annual review, all Club collateral and to present ideas for proactive marketing that will drive income in the functions/accommodation area.
As a well organised, tech savvy communications professional you will bring your creative talent together with your ability to identify & develop quality content to this historic and content rich member-based organisation. As a well-rounded professional you will have a hands-on, can-do collaborative attitude with a sophisticated, discreet and mature mind-set in equal measure.
Appropriate tertiary qualifications (Marcomms &/or IT), together with experience of working in a member-based organisation is preferred. Articulate, you bring with you superiour written and verbal communication skills with well-developed messaging expertise across all mediums including print and online platforms. With plenty of energy and vitality, you will possess solid organisational skills, competently able to manage multiple concurrent projects, often delivering to tight deadlines. Any creative graphic design skills and experience using the ADOBE suite of packages would be highly regarded in this all-round role. Ideally you will have strengths in both communications and IT willing to pitch in and resolve issues, coordinate IT project activity and help internal colleagues and members navigate their way around all tech systems and platforms.
