**About the opportunity**

This is an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a suitably experienced and qualified professional to work within Council’s Workers Compensation team.

The successful applicant will:

- Plan, organise and coordinate rehabilitation related activities as required to rehabilitate Councils injured/ill employees after a work-related injury/illness.
- Provide effective communications networks for early injury management and administration of occupation rehabilitation programs.

**Qualifications and experience**

**Essential**:

- Relevant qualifications with a minimum of Certificate IV in WHS or a related discipline
- Solid administrative experience
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft software
- Current Class “C” driver’s licence.

**Remuneration and benefits**

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at $1,342.43 per week
- 35 hour working week
- Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
- Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 10.5% employer superannuation contribution payable to Active Superannuation Scheme, Fitness Passport and gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
