Our Australian NATA, TGA, and APVMA accredited laboratory based in Sydney (Rydalmere) offers high quality Microbiological services for the Food, Pharmaceutical, Veterinary and Water industries.

We currently have one position available. We seek a driven individual to join our Microbiology Laboratory team who is:

- Available to work Monday - Friday.
- Available to work the shift of 10.45am - 7pm.
- Must be available to work overtime as necessary.

**About you**
ALS is seeking to employ a full-time laboratory technician to join the Microbiology Team. Reporting to the Microbiology Manager and Supervisor, the role involves:

- Completing laboratory testing as requested.
- Preparation of food, water and/or pharmaceutical samples for testing, while standing for long periods of time.
- Testing of food, water and/or pharmaceutical samples.
- Getting involved in other tasks as requested by the Team Leader.
- Working efficiently, handling a fast-paced & pressured environment.
- Following good laboratory practice and aseptic techniques.
- Adhering to the ALS Food & Pharmaceutical Quality System (ISO 17025)

The successful applicants will most likely possess the following attributes:

- Tertiary qualifications in Microbiology (Including TAFE certificates/diplomas).
- Previous work experience in a similar environment will be highly regarded.
- A positive attitude and enjoys working within a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
- Diligent with attention to detail.
- Possess good team building skills
