**A day in the life of an Aboriginal Student Support Officer.**
The Aboriginal Student Support Officer plays a vital role in supporting students in the communities within in the Sydney Region. You will support students in achieving positive outcomes of success for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students while building effective stakeholder relationships.

We have this rewarding opportunity where you can make a real difference in the lives of students and your communities. Join our team as the Aboriginal Student Support Officer on a full-time temporary basis until March 2024, located at our Sutherland Campus.

**About You**
You will have strong communication skills and demonstrated experience in building relationships with students and other stakeholders. Bringing your experience and influencing skills you will share your knowledge, consult and collaborate on cultural appropriate strategies. Being resilient and flexible you are comfortable with constructively managing conflict, mediating and you manage issues with sensitivity and confidentiality. You have demonstrated ability in using Office 365 and a strong background in administration (highly desirable within the education sector).

Crucially, you are someone who shares the TAFE NSW Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Excellence and Customer First.
