**About the role**:

- The Pharmacy Student Interns provide administrative, operational and project support to the Permits and Licensing - Team 2, Regulatory Services and Medicines and Poisons (Practitioners), Regulatory Compliance and Operations - Health teams within the Health Regulator branch.
- Pharmacy Student Interns working in Medicines and Poisons (Practitioners) provide administrative and operational support in the investigation of and intervention in unlawful or unsafe practitioner conduct. They also contribute to general compliance and education projects.
- The Health Regulator branch in the People, Operations, Regulation and Legal division regulates the following sectors:

- Cemeteries
- Child Safety Regulation
- First Aid Services
- Food
- Human Tissue and Gene Technology
- Legionella
- Medicines and Poisons
- Non-Emergency Patient Transport
- Pesticides
- Pharmacies
- Private hospitals and day procedure centres
- Radiation
- Tobacco and E-Cigarettes
- Water
- Workforce

**How you'll make a difference**:

- Under direction, assist with the investigation of, and intervention in, unlawful or unsafe conduct.
- Provide administrative project support.
- Perform routine administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner, including photocopying and registering, filing, delivering and despatching mail and other office papers.
- Accurately maintain basic office equipment and ensure stationery and other basic office equipment needs are met.
- Suggest improvements and work in collaboration to implement the agreed solutions.

**Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate**:

- Currently completing third year pharmacy degree, to commence fourth year pharmacy degree in 2025.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the workings of community and hospital pharmacy, preferably with working experience in either or both.
