Hobart, Australia ASAP Care Services Full time

**Position responsibilities**:

- To maintain overall accountability and responsibility for the clinical management of health and care outcomes of the Care Recipients in the centre.
- Ensure that new staff are appropriately inducted, supported, and trained to affect their roles to their optimum ability and organizational expectations
- Foster and promote a working environment that encourages participation, teamwork and continuous improvement.
- In conjunction with the Centre Manager, participate in recruitment programs and retention strategies in accordance with the annual facility resourcing plans and initiative
- Understand and promote performance management, motivate and increase capability through recognised strengths and identifying and addressing areas for development.
- Ensure effective flow of information to all levels of the organisation In collaboration with line manager and direct reports, draft action plans for continuous improvement following agency visits or reports
- Oversee appropriate reporting, documentation and actions are brought to a successful conclusion following a compliment, complaint or suggestion.
- Effectively manage and support the Centre to ensure adherence to Accreditation Standards, legislation and regulatory requirements, including a safe and complaint workplace within TSA policies, procedures and documentation framework.
- We can provide the remaining responsibilities in a document after an interview has been conducted.

**Qualifications**:

- Registered nurse
- Covid vaccination
- Police check (or willing to retrieve police check)
- NDISWC

**Skills and experience**:

- Demonstrated ability to assist elderly residents
- Confident speaker
- Organised and punctual
- **Experience as an RN in aged care facilities (desired but **_**not essential**_**)**:

- Appropriate qualifications

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $83.50 - $167.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37 per week
