The Role
The Pharmacy Procurement Officer will support the development and implementation of sourcing and purchasing activity.
Key responsibilities:
- Implements appropriate Pharmaceutical contracts and arrangements in regards to purchasing Pharmaceuticals.- Monitors credits and backorders.- Monitors stock levels and conducts stock takes.- Prepares out-of-stock and discontinued pharmaceuticals reports fortnightly and distributes them to relevant staff appropriately.- Follows up on urgently required pharmaceuticals and communicates appropriately.
About you
You will have:
- Health industry knowledge and particularly pharmaceutical experiences will be a significant advantage.- Experience in supporting users of P2P would be useful.- Commercial acumen with good negotiation skills with multiple parties to achieve the desired outcomes.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and self-motivated to work independently.- Proficient in Office 365 suite inc. Excel and PowerPoint.

Cabrini is a healthcare provider that is captured by the COVID-19 and seasonal influenza vaccination requirements released by the Victorian government. It is a condition of employment that all staff receive the required vaccines, unless they have a relevant medical exemption. Vaccination evidence or evidence of a medical contraindication must be provided prior to commencement.
Police Check
As per Cabrini policy, a mandatory copy of a current (under 12 months) police record check must be provided prior to the commencement date.
