The City’s is seeking an experienced Building Projects Officer to provide high level project administration support to the Building Design and Construction team. This role is responsible for scheduling, monitoring and reporting of the Building Capital Works Program’s and Civic Precinct planned and reactive maintenance projects, ensuring delivery is on time and within budget.

To be considered for this role, please provide a resume and covering letter detailing your knowledge and experience relevant to this role, including:

- Tertiary qualification related to building construction or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in project administration, including document control, reporting, and budget preparation.
- Experience in contract administration for the construction, refurbishment and maintenance of public buildings and facilities.
- Experience in the project management of the construction and refurbishment of public buildings and facilities.
- Experience in tender and contract specification monitoring.
- Experience managing and coordinating contractors and consultants.
- Sound knowledge of Asset Management software systems.
