About the role
As a Technical Assessor you will be working in a team environment and be involved in a variety of tasks relating to identification and management of Aeronautical Product (AP).

**This would include**:

- Managing and maintaining the approved Authority to Fit systems on behalf of the customer
- Conducting Technical Spares Assessments, Stock Level Assessment and Cataloguing Services
- Utilising knowledge of operational Configuration, Role and Equipment to conduct suitability assessments of publication/manual amendments
- Working closely across multiple areas of the business regarding inventory management issues
- Supporting Repairable Item Managers and Spares Inventory Managers in ensuring Airbus Aeronautical Product is authorised, correctly documented and serviceable prior to acceptance into stores
- Identification and management of Hazardous Materials and Problematic Items of Supply in ChemAlert

About the team
The Technical Assessing team works as part of the Support Services function, providing support to the business through analysing and documenting applicable requirements in support of continuing airworthiness. The Technical Assessor fulfils the role of the logistics and technical interface between Engineering, Technical Support Services, and Material Support & Supply teams.

About you
To be successful in this role, it is a requirement to be able to work in a team environment, have well developed relationship skills as well as good verbal and written skills. You will need to be someone who is able to work autonomously and to deadlines, and work comfortably in a continuous improvement work environment.

**The skills and experience best suited to this role include**:

- Previous aviation maintenance experience
- Certificate IV Aeroskills or equivalent Aviation Technical Trade qualifications
- Previous experience in Part 145 and/or Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation
- Strong technical vocabulary to allow correct interpretation and processing of technical information

**Other desirable skills and experience would include**:

- Knowledge of logistics assessing, technical publications, DASR and Hazardous Chemicals would be an advantage but not mandatory
