**About Supply Chain Surety Branch**:
Supply Chain Surety is a branch in Corporate Services Division (CSD) supporting the supply of clinical goods, pharmaceuticals and linen products to the Hospital and Health Services (HHS), Queensland Health.
**What we are looking for**:
**The essential requirements for this role are**:
- Extensive experience in successfully leading corporate governance activities in a large, complex and highly regulated public sector organisation. An understanding of supply chain processes and the mechanisms associated with governance, risk and compliance.
- Experience in, and understanding of, contemporary business governance, management, risk and subordinate processes.
- Proven ability in designing and implementing contemporary and fit for purpose corporate governance frameworks, systems, and processes.
- Demonstrated well developed communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills with a track record in fostering effective and productive relationships with clients, strategic partners and key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to provide advice on issues relating to risk management, business improvement and the ability to provide input to the resolution of related issues across Surety Branch, the HHSs and key strategic clients and partners.
- Ability to adopt contemporary practices, ideas or developments and adapt them to meet current needs in line with the voice of the customer to provide value commercial solutions.
- Knowledge and understanding of the legislation, regulations and standards relevant to supply chain operations, risk management and public sector governance.
**Qualifications and other requirements**:
- There are no mandatory qualifications required for appointment to this position, but possession of professional or tertiary level qualifications in relevant areas such as risk/governance management and policy, business management, project or change management will be favourably regarded.This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Australia License.
