About the role
Haylix is moving from build to growth mode, and we are looking for an experienced account manager to strengthen relationships and expand the footprint of existing accounts.
You must be interested in defining account strategies and driving account plans, cloud experience, and industry knowledge is preferred. Some of our focus accounts reside in the mid-market verticals; Retail, Finance, Healthcare, and Tourism.
Our ideal team member would have been successful operating within a business relaunch, a mature start-up, and be able to work autonomously, supported but not reliant on the business in executing your account strategy.
What you’ll be doing
- Identifying and position growth opportunities, including markets, partnerships, or new products and services within existing accounts.
- Creating strategies to successfully drive ongoing account growth.
- Building key relationships with customers and developing proposals to address their business needs.
- Creating account forecasts, and actively working towards reaching them.
- Possessing a strong understanding of the Haylix’s products and services, and competitive landscape
- Taking ownership and accountability of the accounts, opportunity process, and working with the sales and services teams to success.
- Open to semi-regular local and international travel.
- Manage customer contract renewals, including all associated partner licensing.
- Responsible for the definition and estimation of RFPs, SOWs, PSAs, and other customer contracts, including any associated internal and 3rd party licensing, and partner services.
- Ownership of the engagement profitability.
- Responsible for customer satisfaction and ongoing customer retention.
- Create and deliver customer governance meetings and producing reports.
- Assist with billing and invoice accuracy, as required.

Role Requirements

Preferred
- 2+ years’ experience in account management of customers on either Azure or AWS cloud.
- 2+ years’ experience working strategically with channel partner ecosystem.
- Extensive experience selling and managing relationships in the Australia and New Zealand market.
