We have an amazing opportunity for you to join our Team here at SEA LIFE Melbourne Aquarium as an Aquarist/Antarctic Penguin Keeper

**About the Role**

In this role you will assist with the care, wellbeing and general husbandry of the King and Gentoo Penguins, within the Curatorial team. Key duties will include assisting to ensure a high level of animal health and welfare, feeding, cleaning, record keeping and monitoring of life support systems. But Sea Life Melbourne is more than just penguins, with a whole host of amazing aquatic animals there will be opportunities to expand your skills and experience working in different areas of the attraction. This position also has diving responsibilities when required.

**About You**

Holding a degree in Zoology or similar, you will also have experience in animal husbandry (preferably birds) and maintaining daily contact with a living collection of plants and animals in a varied building climate. Experience in Life Support Systems is essential.

You will be an exceptional communicator and are able to use your vast work experience to work well in a successful, fast paced team. This role does involve cleaning the exhibit and restocking of snow daily, so some level of physical fitness is also required.

Your ability to multi-task and have a flexible and adaptable approach along with high attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and have demonstrated planning, organisational and time management skills are desired.
