**The Opportunity**
The Climate-ready Agriculture Coordinator provides regional leadership to deliver the Board’s strategic objective of becoming a carbon neutral and climate resilient region. Through this, climate-resilient landscapes are strengthened, while ensuring sustainable regional economies continue to thrive.

The position works closely with the Hills and Fleurieu community, landscape board staff and a diverse range of partners and networks including industry, government and research institutes, to support the design and implementation of successful climate-ready agriculture initiatives. This is a growth area for the board and the role will actively contribute to expanding and initiating new projects that help reduce emissions and build the climate resilience of our communities and agriculture.

The Hills and Fleurieu Landscape Board is one of nine regional boards in South Australia, including a metropolitan board called Green Adelaide, that support their local communities to manage soils, water, pests, and biodiversity. These boards invest landscape levies into regional priority issues as well as leveraging Australian Government funding towards managing and protecting our productive and natural landscapes. **Special Conditions**
- This role has been designated a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework and requires a satisfactory National Police Clearance prior to employment.
- Australian residency or current work permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit).

**Requirements**:

- Contract to 30 June 2026, full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Located in Mount Barker, South Australia
- Desirable Qualification: An appropriate tertiary qualification in natural resource management, environmental science, agricultural science or equivalent.
- A current class “C” driver’s license and willingness and ability to safely operate a manual 4WD is essential.
- Some out of hours work including over-night absences and/or inter/intra-state travel may be required.
- You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations.

**Remuneration**: ASO6, $97,022 - $102,626 per annum.
