Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Expense and Program Specialist to join HealthVue and cross working with United Heath Services Australia (Product of HealthVue), specializing in the health industry. As an Expense and Program Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing expense-related processes, programs, and initiatives for our health industry clients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate expense reporting, adherence to financial policies, and optimization of expense management practices within the health industry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Expense Management: Efficiently manage and process expense reports for health industry clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reimbursement.
- Policy Compliance: Develop and maintain expense policies and guidelines specific to the health industry, keeping abreast of industry regulations and best practices.
- Program Development: Collaborate with clients to identify their specific expense management needs and develop tailored programs and solutions to optimize expense tracking, reporting, and analysis.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers in the health industry, negotiating contracts, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and coordinating the implementation of new expense management tools or technologies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze expense data and generate reports for clients, highlighting trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing insights to support decision-making.
- Training and Support: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate clients and their employees on expense management best practices, policies, and tools.
- Auditing and Compliance: Perform regular audits across clients also ensuring compliance with expense policies and regulations, identifying discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering expert guidance on expense management matters.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices, continuously improving and enhancing expense management processes and systems.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with external vendors, such as insurance, VOIP, printing, IT and other streams of services
- From time to time also assist with sales opportunity’s, assist with the day to day operations of the business and attend conferences and other business events

Qualifications:

- Experience in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications
- Proven experience in expense management, preferably within the health industry or a similar regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of expense management principles, policies, and best practices.
- Familiarity with expense management software and tools (e.g., Concur, Expensify) and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide meaningful insights.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Part-time hours: 32 per week

**Salary**: From $55,000.00 per year
