As a member of the executive leadership team, this role is required to work proactively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders in a sensitive and complex environment. You will also provide high-level specialist advice on human centred design, change management, and support a range of strategic and operational matters.

Accountabilities
- Provide leadership, guidance and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports, briefs, and agency submissions on complex matters.
- Strategically plan and manage the delivery of corporate services that support administration of the Health Complaints Act (2016) and the Health Records Act (2001) so as to meet policy objectives, budget considerations and government expectations.
- Effectively manage and provide leadership to a team of employees by leading and supporting individuals to achieve their potential while maximising their contribution to achieve their goals and outcomes;
- Pro-actively build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
- Where responsible for overseeing, monitoring or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.
- Provision of high-level specialist advice and support on a range of strategic policy and operational matters.
- Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- Take reasonable care for your own health and safety and for that of others in the workplace by working in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's occupational health and safety (OHS) policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate how the actions and outcomes of this role and work unit impact stakeholders and the Health Complaints Commissioner's ability to deliver and/or facilitate the delivery of effective support and services.
