**Role overview**

As a Payroll Specialist at TPG Telecom, you will play a critical role in managing all aspects of employee pay, including normal pay, bonuses, and commissions, for our monthly paid employees. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to work with employee information and records accurately will ensure the smooth functioning of our payroll processes. Additionally, you will assist in processing third-party payments and provide exceptional customer service to employees and supervisors regarding payroll-related inquiries.

This is a 12-month max term contract, covering parental leave.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage end-to-end payroll processes for monthly paid employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Maintain and update employee information and records with confidentiality and accuracy.
- Process payroll-related data such as new hires, salary increases, promotions, terminations, special payments, and bonuses.
- Utilise Microsoft Excel and Access to perform data analysis, problem-solving, and reporting tasks.
- Collaborate with multiple locations to receive and manage payroll data, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Respond to employee and supervisor inquiries regarding payroll-related matters with professionalism and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Maintain payroll data and related documentation, adhering to archival requirements.

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Proven experience in payroll administration or a related field.
- High preference for experience with both Oracle Cloud and Preceda Payroll software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access for data management and analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
- Alignment with organisational culture, emphasizing customer focus and employee engagement.
- Strong sense of accountability, positivity, and effectiveness in challenging situations.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive payroll information.
