**The Role**:
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our dynamic and collaborative team on a 12 month fixed-term contract (parental leave cover).

Reporting to the People Hub Manager, the Human Resources Advisor is responsible for delivering customer-centric service excellence of Melbourne Water’s People Operational Services, as well as facilitating a positive employee lifecycle experience for all leaders and employees.

This will be achieved through:

- Delivering high quality People Operational Services that support all core People Hub processes & procedures.
- Delivering responsive expert advice and creatively resolving complex queries relating to employment conditions and People Hub processes and procedures.
- Working with the People Hub Manager to identify continuous improvement opportunities and ensuring all core People Hub processes & procedures are repeatable, scalable and measurable with a strong focus on end-user experience.
- Facilitating and ensuring compliance with People Hub processes & procedures, document management and control procedures are in place and regularly reviewed.
- Providing mentorship and guidance to the People Hub Advisors to ensure the provision of high-quality and timely customer-centric service.
- Building, maintaining and strengthening stakeholder relationships to ensure the ongoing delivery of exceptional People Services to required standards.

**Your Skills and Experience**:

- Demonstrated Human Resource generalist experience in an enterprise level environment
- Significant knowledge of workplace Human Resource policies and procedures including the ability to review and develop People policies and procedures to ensure they are best practice and are in line with current legislation
- Relevant experience in Employee Relations intervention and management with demonstrated ability in supporting ER case resolution
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders where required
- Ability to coach and mentor other members of the team

Your superior communication skills and high-level customer service orientation will be keys to this role.
