**Our client is a successful power generation company in the eastern suburbs of Perth which has been providing services into the mining sector for more than 30 years. Australian owned and operated, our client provides a supportive and positive work environment with a strong team environment.**

**This is a largely Perth-based, workshop role with only rare visits to sites.**

**Solid experience working with diesel engines and engine rebuilds is key for success in this role. Experience with power generation, Cummins engines and remote servicing would also be highly regarded.**

An experienced Mechanical Fitter, based in the Workshop is needed to commence a full-time, permanent role. This is a Monday to Friday role from 7am to 4pm, based in Perth. Site work may be required from time to time but is mínimal. This is a 'hands-on' role in a small team environment. Generous pay negotiated depending on skills and experience. Some paid overtime is available if the successful applicant wants extra hours.

- Australian Trade Certificate is required
- $55 - 65 per hour plus super
- The ability to work independently
- Computer literacy - Basic to Intermediate level required
- Current WA Driver’s Licence
- Right to Work in Australia
- Excellent diagnostic and repairing skills highly regarded
- Experience working with engine rebuilds and with a good understanding of diesel engines in particular would be valued

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
