**About the role**:

The Investigations Compliance Officer is part of a team reporting to the Manager, Investigations and will be responsible for monitoring health service providers compliance with Interim Prohibition Orders (IPOs) and/or Prohibition Orders (POs), and the implementation of Recommendations by providers arising from investigations.

This will include conducting compliance checks to identify non-compliance, investigating and obtaining evidence of non-compliance and recommending action in accordance with relevant policies and procedures and the Health Complaints Act 2016.

**How you'll make a difference**:

- Conduct compliance activities and investigation into potential and actual breaches of Orders and recommendations, in accordance with best practice investigation processes and administrative law principles.
- Working closely with the Manager, Investigations you will:

- Manage and monitor health service providers' response to and compliance with Recommendations following an approved Investigation Report in accordance with relevant policy and procedures.
- Identify areas of actual and/or potential risk for health service providers' non-compliance with orders to ensure effective protection of the public, undertaking appropriate risk management strategies when necessary.
- Liaise with health service providers to assist them in meeting their compliance obligations and to respond to their queries.
- If required, meet with health service providers and/or third parties to establish and ensure compliance with IPOs, POs, and Recommendations.
- Conduct enquiries, gather evidence and analyse information relating to suspected non-compliance.
