Nicks Restaurant & Bar Group is seeking a Marketing Specialist.

This position is required to formulate and drive a total Marketing Strategy, in conjunction with the Marketing Schedule, to ensure maximum exposure for the Nick’s Group of Restaurants. This will entail overseeing and creating all social media, print media, radio advertising, promotional collateral (including menus and design), web design, photos and artwork.

In utilising your mix of creative skills and commercial awareness, the Marketing Specialist needs imaginative flair, awareness of current fashions in the visual arts, working knowledge of the latest computer packages, social media following and growth strategy, and an understanding of material costs and time limits, all of which can impact on the design. These skills will assist in developing and producing materials to enhance the Marketing Strategy in place for the Group.

Appropriate medium and styles are selected in conjunction with the restaurant and promotion requirements. By providing quality visuals it is hoped restaurant visitation will increase as potential customers become more informed or persuaded by the advertisements, graphics and associated messages.

The Marketing Specialist will also be responsible for the management and maintenance of the corporate website, updating not only the graphics but also the inclusions.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Meeting with the Sales Team and Managers of each venue to gain an understanding of their individual responsibilities and requirements
- Identify, with the Sales Team and Manager of each venue, different target markets to approach and cost effective ways to attract them to our restaurants.
- Ensuring all sales and marketing design requirements are in line with corporate vision and objectives.
- Create an annual Marketing Plan and strategy for approval by management, including costing and promotional initiatives.
- Write content for all printed and radio advertising.
- Initiate and pursue editorial content and marketing opportunities.
- Create videos as required for social media promotions.
- Web Design and content, including photos and artwork.
- Maintain and grow social media presence and following.
- Manage costs associated with all jobs, to ensure highest quality at lowest cost.
- Attention to detail and proof reading to ensure accurate, high quality work.
- Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and aesthetic design concepts.
- Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, and select style and size of type.
- Draw and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork as required.
- Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.
- Confer with the Sales Team to discuss and determine layout design.
- Develop graphics and layouts for product illustration, company logos.
- Any other tasks as may be required from time to time.

- Excellent organizational, planning and prioritizing ability to develop specific goals and plans when arranging jobs.
- Cost Management — working to keep costs low through effective time management, attention to detail, planning and negotiation.
- Knowledge of communication and media techniques including alternative ways to inform, sell and entertain via written, oral and visual media.
- Ability to come up with unusual or clever ideas about a given topic or situation, or to develop creative ways to solve a problem.
- Ability to successfully use and interact with computers to generate new images, and create or modify designs.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills are required in all areas of work including interaction with colleagues, superiors and suppliers.

**Qualifications/Experience Requirements**

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
