**The Opportunity**
Goal Group is seeking an experienced Defence Industry Security Program Specialist to join our team as Senior Consultant, engaged in varied assignments with our clients in the Defence sector.

This role can be based at Canberra/Melbourne/Sydney/Newcastle.

You may be involved in:

- Managing the DISP membership for Goal Group on behalf of the Goal Group Chief Security Officer.
- Initiating and managing Goal Group’s Security vetting process of employees
- Responsible for delivering the Defence Security Seminar for Goal Group’s Defence Ready Seminar Series to industry entities wanting to join the Defence Industry Security Program (DISP).
- Delivering DISP training to various clients and stakeholders, via both online and face to face methods.
- Consulting work relating to Defence Security (DISP), including, but not limited to, working with clients to understand their obligations as part of the program, and implement their actions to become compliant.
- Preparing DISP documentation for clients to ensure they meet the program requirements.
- Delivering advice on governance, personnel security, physical security and cyber security requirements directly related to the DISP.

**About you**
- You will hold a current Australian security clearance at NV1 or ability to obtain one. _Please note, only Australian Citizens are eligible to obtain an Australian Defence Security Clearance_
- Experience in DISP/ Security Management - governance, personnel, physical and information/cyber
- Experience in interpretation and implementation of government policy relating to the Defence Industry Security Program
- Experience in delivering DISP training
- Tertiary qualifications in international commerce, economics, security, policy or international relations will be highly regarded.
