**About this role**

We have an opportunity for a Finance Officer to be part of the Branch Accounting and Reporting Team. This role has a strong focus on business partnering and involve collaborating with various stakeholders across the Ministry. The Finance Officer provides support to a range of financial and accounting activities in Oracle. The role also has portfolio management responsibilities which include monitoring and reporting on budget against forecast and actual expenditure, budget supplementation processes and budget related tasks as required to meet outcomes.

**Crown Clerk 5/6**, salary from $89,707 - $92,536 plus Super and annual leave loading

**What you'll be doing**
- Work closely with branch stakeholders as their dedicated Finance Business Partners to manage program budgets and expenditure, including the processing of budget allocations, as well as the provision of accurate forecasting and management reporting monthly
- Provide support and services to branches within the Ministry under your portfolio on compliance with financial controls, budget protocols and business as usual queries
- Provide a gatekeeping function for Branches in the ERP system (OracleR12) to ensure compliance

**About you**

We are seeking motivated and committed individuals with:

- The ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
- Attention to detail, high level of commitment to customer service
- The ability to work in a high volume, multi-disciplinary team environment
- Experience working with advanced enterprise finance systems (Oracle preferable).
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
