**The day to day**
ALS Environmental in **Wangara** is seeking an experienced **Laboratory Technician** to join a team that strives to exceed client expectations by delivering quality results on time.

The successful applicant will receive on-the-job training in the technical components and procedures of the role.

This is a **Full-Time** role, and your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Preparation and analysis of soil, water, and marine sediment samples for a variety of tests throughout
- Ensuring that analytical procedures and associated tasks are conducted in accordance with the ALS Quality Work Instructions, including QA/QC
- Organizing designated tasks to maximize daily efficiencies
- Completing all tasks and analyses within both the time set down by the supervisor and the relevant analysis standard
- Highlighting anomalies in results, sample type, and sample behaviour

**The essentials**
- A genuine interest in the Science Industry, preferably with a BSc (Chemistry, Environmental Science or similar) or TAFE qualifications in Laboratory Techniques
- A desire to work in a high-throughput, customer-focused environment, with preference given to those with previous commercial laboratory experience
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational and time management skills
- Desire to learn new skills
- Good communication skills
- A strong desire to exceed client expectations by delivering quality results on time
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
