**Job Description**:
**Our Family**:

- Our 2.5 year old twins (T & G) are loving, funny, gentle and cheeky. They love music, dancing, animals and creative activities. I (Chris) work from home full time and my wife (Sarah) does too, apart from 2-3 days a week. I juggle between running my business and being the primary carer for our twins and my wife works full regular hours. We are a warm, friendly and funny family and have a cat named Mrs P. Chris and Sarah are from a creative background and now both work in advertising and marketing. There are musical instruments around and have the occasional visit from the kids aunties.

**Your Duties**:

- We need somebody who can commit to Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 9-2 as a minimum, but ideally is available other days too. My work is sometimes busier than other times based on project work, so having someone with some flexibility to work more/less would be ideal. An average day looks like: 9am arrive - twins will be finishing/just finished breakfast. Wipe them down and tidy their highchairs *play play play* 10:30am light snack *play play play* 11:00am Chris has a meeting so "quiet play" or outside in the sandpit 12pm prepare lunch eg. avocado toast or chicken and veggies 1pm put the babies down for a nap and do some dishes or vacuuming 2pm finish up *We have a nice house with a big play room as well as out door play area with sand put and cubby house. We will ask that you don't take the kids off the property until we get to know you well. We are looking for someone fantastic who aligns with our values, enjoys spending time with our kids and can become a great support for our family. When we have that person, we will likely lean on them for other times as well, such as night time baby sitting or the occasional few hours on a weekend

- In terms of you, you are: - Patient and warm - Active in engaging the kids in positive activities (reading, drawing, learning and play) and ok with the occasional 30 mins of TV on rainy days - Proactive. We will give you the best instructions we can but sometimes we will need to know that you have the initiative to feed the kids if they're hungry - Someone who is comfortable with basic cooking (preparing simple meals for the twins like avocado toast) and cleaning (vacuuming, mopping, washing the dishes, folding the kids washing - no bathrooms or deep cleaning) - Someone ok with nappies as well as assisting with potty training - Someone who isn't afraid to ask questions or provide feedback on us or the kids - Must be vaccinated, LGBTQI+ friendly and hold modern views around equality (gender, race, ability, religion or otherwise) We're interested in finding the right match for our family and are negotiable on rate and potentially even the hours you would like to work if there are other days that would suit you better.
